Design guidelines
Understanding the design guidelines is crucial when it comes to creating your own personalised stickers. Whether you’re choosing from the thousands of templates (created by our talented designers!) or uploading your own design, it’s important to consider factors like sticker sizes for printing and other printing guidelines. For example, it’s recommended to have at least 300 dots per inch as your sticker size in pixels (i.e., the image resolution) for optimal results. Plus, it’s good to ensure you upload the design file in a standard format (like .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .bmp, .png, .gif, etc.).
(Before we dive into the guidelines: the measurements shared below are specific to our 3.8 x 3.8 cm circle sheet stickers. For our other options, the bleed and safe printing areas are proportionate to their actual sizes. Bleed Area: 43 mm x 43 mm
If you have a background colour or pattern, make sure it extends slightly beyond the actual size of the sticker. This ensures that even if the stickers are cut slightly off centre, you won’t end up with unwanted white borders. By extending the design into the bleed area, you can achieve a seamless and professional look for your stickers.
Trim Size: 38 x 38 mm
The trim size refers to the final dimensions of your stickers after they have been cut. However, we recommend checking the safe printing area when finalising your design to make sure that important elements are not too close to the edges.
Safe Printing Area: 33 x 33 mm
You probably have any important text or design elements within this area, which isn’t much smaller than the actual size of the sticker. To guarantee nothing gets cut off, keep everything inside this box.x
